Loneliness

”It’s so much easier to live alone”
That is a lie, a big lie.
Living alone is hard as hell,
not an easy game to play.

You think you’re doing OK,
and you really are,
but then a happy couple comes along
and makes you feel pathetic and alone.

Humans are greedy,
and humans have a need for love.
the conclusion is of it all
is really quite simple:

You can live alone for a while,
but there comes a time
when the loneliness
will catch up with you.

At that time, you will realize
that living alone
isn’t as splendid
as you thought.

You live alone
in fear of getting hurt,
but in the end,
the loneliness will kill you..
